Joints and Glands




I learned a fantastic routine from my yoga teacher training with the Himalayan Yoga Institute. It's called Joints and Glands. See the video posted here...


It's the perfect thing to do when you wake up in the morning or if you simply need to wake up and get the energy flowing. I wouldn't do it too close to bedtime as this will energize you, rather than get you ready for sleeping.

There are so many different variations, you can add to it and do as many repetitions as you wish. This is a basic routine that I love and do often before practicing yoga, just to wake up or before exercising. It's important to start at the top and go down your body, to ensure a good flow of energy.
